Spreading Joy Quick Style

Who: Caroline (11) & Kendall (8)

Props: I used props that highlighted the girls' personalities.  Caroline was into violin and fashion and Kendall was very into horses and loves to laugh.

Clothes: Target & Old Navy; jewelry is from Stella and Dot

Comments: I wanted the focus to be on the girls so I tried to make the clothes not stand out, but I still wanted them to dress as if they had some help in picking their outfits. :)

Photographer: Sarah Burns of Butterfly Chaser Photography

Designer: Me - Nichole Quick of Quick Designs (the Momma of those two sweet girls)

Favorite Thing: The photographer and her eye totally made this card.  She captured the joy in my girls' heart and I wanted to share that with my recipients.

Katy's Thoughts: I adore how happy these sisters are. I love that the card is nontraditional and I love those darling outfits! I love this gives a glimpse into their everyday by capturing them as best as could possibly happen.

Cindy's Thoughts: I love lots and lots of things about this card.  I love the pretty girls that have real genuine smiles!  I love the color scheme.  I love that the girls aren't in sweaters and fall colors.  I love that they get to show off their passions.  I love the simple outfits (that are still darling!).  I just love this card.  And the design is real dang cute too!

How can you recreate this card? What activities are you and your family into? Sports? Musical instruments? Dance? Camping? (or Glamping!) Use what you and your family love in your pictures and spreading joy will be easy!

Get PINspired:
  1. Do you and your family spend lots of nights and weekends at the field (soccer, baseball, football, etc)?  Highlight that fun in your card!  This family hit a home run! And we think this bat boy is gosh darn precious! Touchdown from this family and this one!  GOAL!
  2. Maybe your gig is all about the music?  The violin and flute are so classical.  The guitar can be classical, but this girl is ready to rock it out!  And this darling boy, his tunes are a hit!
  3. Maybe you have a twinkle toes in your family?
  4. And the newest (yet oldest) hobby - camping or really glamping!  How fun is this? And this!

She designed this card and this one!
